St. Joseph’s DocTalks Podcast was awarded an International Association of Business Communicators Virtuoso Award of Excellence and reached more than 10,000 downloads across 57 countries.
St. Joseph’s DocTalks Podcast is one-way our organization engages our community and far beyond in our work, sharing our expertise and helping listeners learn how to prevent and detect illness and better navigate our health care system. The DocTalks Podcast published several educational episodes in 2023-2024 on diseases and conditions that affect many of our patients and community members. DocTalks received a Virtuoso Award of Excellence for this work, presented by the London chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). The Virtuoso Awards recognize excellence in communications and the best in creative strategy and design in Southwestern Ontario. An Award of Excellence acknowledges projects that have gone above and beyond the international standard for communicators. Hosted by award winning journalist Ian Gillespie, the DocTalks Podcast explores the latest research, discoveries and treatments with St. Joseph’s renowned experts. To date, DocTalks Podcast episodes have been downloaded more than 10,000 times and have reached audiences in 57 countries.
