One-day Orthotic Fabrication Workshop

The Division of Hand Therapy is hosting a one-day workshop for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, students, and aspiring hand therapists. This workshop will concentrate on fabricating common static orthoses for the hand and wrist.

Orthoses Fabricated Include:

• Wrist cock-up orthosis
• Radial gutter orthosis
• 1st CMC Joint OA orthosis
• MCP joint blocking orthosis
• Relative motion extension orthosis
• Relative motion flexion orthosis
• Principles of orthotic fabrication will also be reviewed

All instructors are Hand Therapists within the Division of Hand Therapy of the Roth | McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre.

Morning coffee and refreshments are included in the cost of registration.

Participants are responsible for their own meals.
