Hand Therapy Fellowship Application

Process: Interested candidates are required to complete this application and email to Joey Pipicelli, Hand Therapy Fellowship Coordinator. Applications are reviewed bi-annually. Once application are reviewed interviews will be arranged with potential candidates. We will endeavor to support 2 – 4 fellows per year, however, this will be based on the availability of resources within the Hand Therapy department. Please refer to the cycle below.

For application deadline of September 30, the application review will take place October 15 to 30 and notification of acceptance will be issued November 1. Confirmed acceptance will take place November 15 for a start date of March 1.

For application deadline of March 31, the application review will take place April 15 to 31 and notification of acceptance will be issued May 1. Confirmed acceptance will take place May 15 for a start date of September 1.

Once the request for fellowship can be accommodated, the candidate is required to complete and provide proof of the following prior to their start date:

• Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario or the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• St. Joseph’s student prerequisites:
  • Complete privacy training through St. Joseph’s Health Care, London
  • Submit completed 2 step TB skin test
  • Submit comprehensive and up-to-date record of vaccinations
