Gastroenterology Program

Diagnostic, therapeutic and specialized endoscopic procedures

The Gastroenterology Program, which is located within the Endoscopy Clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital, offers a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and specialized endoscopic procedures which are performed by gastroenterologists as well as surgeons. The program also includes clinics to provide consultation and monitoring of disease progression.

The multidisciplinary health care team provides leading edge care for esophageal disorders, swallowing problems, motility problems, peptic ulcer disease, biliary disorders and inflammatory bowel diseases.

The Endoscopy Clinic is a designated site for colorectal screening through Cancer Care Ontario/Ontario Health Team.

As a teaching centre, our gastroenterologists provide training for the next generation of experts as members of the Division of Gastroenterology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario.

Appointments to the Gastroenterology Program are by referral only.
