The most common reason for referral to the Colposcopy Clinic is an abnormal Pap test result. Other reasons are abnormal tissues on the vulva or around the anus. Abnormal cells do need more investigation.  Your family doctor has referred you to the Colposcopy Clinic for this investigation, including a repeat Pap test. The doctor who will see you is a Gynecologist with special training.

Please note: Your appointment from registration to exam will take approximately 1 hour or more. Patients are not always seen in order of arrival due to varying procedures and Physicians.
